SPORTS RECAP: Week of 12-16-20

Dundee Bowling
Dundee's varsity bowling teams faced Midlakes, Thursday, Dec. 10.
The boys won 5-0, with a 2327-1601 team total. Austin States had a 501 and Aaron Ayers a 397. Gabe Stiles recorded a 381, while Justin Keech had a 368.
The girls also won 5-0. Jaedyn Brewer led the team with a 523. McKenna Miller followed with a 405. Cheyenne Cummings and Cassie Morrissette recorded a 379 and 362 respectively.
The girls won and the boys lost to Wayne, Wednesday, Dec. 9
The girls recorded the win 4-1. Brewer had a 449, Miller a 442 and Morrissette 431.
The boys lost 0-5. States' three-game total was 455. He was followed by Keech with a 435.
The girls also defeated Bloomfield, Tuesday, Dec. 8, while the boys lost.
Dundee won 5-0 with Morrissette leading the team with a 505. Miller had a 447 and Brewer a 443.
States had a 568 total in the Dundee boy's 0-5 loss.

Penn Yan Bowling
The Penn Yan bowling teams hosted Wayne, Thursday, Dec. 10.
The boys won each game and the pin total. Trenton Samatulski led with a 669. He was followed by Jon Mashewske (664), Trevor Harris (663) and Ben Broome (647). Colin Johnson added a 619.
The girls lost. Andy Kniffin led with a 574. Anella Tillman followed with a 567.
The Penn Yan boys beat Marcus Whitman, Tuesday, Dec. 8, while the girls lost.
Broome led the Mustangs with a 610 in the boys 5-0 victory. Cameron Bassage recorded a 584 and Johnson a 541.
The girls lost 0-5 at Roseland Bowl. Tillman had a 538 and Dayton Gulick a 413.
